This was so interesting! Thank you for educating us about Vodu. I’m from Michigan and this religion is not openly practiced in my area. High Priest Robi you are a very good ambassador for your religion. The world needs more kind and positive people like you in it

I was born and raised in Louisiana (where we have Louisiana vodou/voodoo) so this religion is really close to home for me. I wanted to learn about possible African-American (and African) based religions for me to follow. This video was great!.

Hello Robi, Vo Du is NOT PURE LIGHT. Pure light will mean Ntikokoe kekeli which may rather mean holy spirit. I am glad you kept the tradition alive. Vo means free and Du means nation. Vo Du is the freed nation, in reference to the Israelites. I am Ewe and we, the Ewes, Ajas, Fons, Gen, among others are that Nation. Vo Du is Ewegbe that's Ewe language. Reach out if you want to know anything. Ɖagbe ne va na mi- may fortune attend you🙏 NevAme- Amen. The religion should rather be called Yeveawo. Thats the poeple of Yaweh. Yaweh means "I will do it" considering the promise He gave through Moses asking the people to trust him to do it. Mawu which is God means "I will be more than enough" and lastly Yesu or Yeshua "I am the one who is enough" Remember I am that I am? Tror means change. Thats Etrortowo is those who changed/repented. These are the correct local words(Etrɔ, Etrɔtɔwo Eʋe, Eʋegbe, Yeʋeawo ŋtikɔkɔe)

Our hidden regional Black-American LaLwizyàna Kréolité closed Voodoo culture here in Louisiana and the Haitian Vodou culture are totally different spiritualities.

Priest Robi or anyone who knows how to contact him please reply to this comment bc I’m cursed and it’s all my fault. But I’m now paralyzed from the waist down and more and more bad things keep happening and idk what to do. I’m so sorry for messing with stuff I didn’t know anything about

If you can reach him, see him. Else give something that belongs to you to a family member to send to Benin(Ancient Dahomey) on your behalf. It is more appropriate if you went to Benin yourself.

Its false and not of God Jehovah! Beware of this Guy and its origins!

While I don’t practice or follow Vodou or Voodoo and am a born again Christian in America. High Priest Robi is a kind person who just believes in a different religion from me.

oh, the irony of this statement. you should beware of your religion's origins lol

Yeah as false as the packaged religion brought back to Africa. Can you simply worship and allow others to do same? I think that democracy right?
