@@sugargirlbaptiste686 Because what I believe, or really what I know is the Christianity when we were stolen from our land was used to destroy us as a people, they separated us, they beat our culture out of us and wove us into what they deemed as "civilized" and made us believe that anything connected to where we came from was evil, that it was demonic, that we ourselves as a people were less then, but many races came tf from us, and we were led to believe and are still conditioned and brainwashed to believe that we are less then, that we matter nothing, we forget sometimes that Christianity was used to oppress and control us, and we have been conditioned to view the aspects of our different cultures as evil speaking on things like Vodou(I apologize if I spelled that wrong), we were legit ripped and torn from our own people, they separated whole families and pounded the white man's ideals into our minds and grew us into self hating people and we still struggle with this today, and that means the white man's hold had been on us for hundreds of years and it's still thriving in our own communities. This comment long af but I just had to get that off my chest, like we have become so far gone from our own people and our own past, our heritage, we don't even know what our lineage outside of America is, speaking on just Americans and myself included, and that is some bullshit, but it hurts more when you know why.
