Still think Gerard’s character is still playing Double Agent, but looks interesting. I also like how the Logo Title emphasizes the Two of them. Like though it’s known as “Den of Thieves 2”, marketing it as “Den of 2 Thieves” is great.

Thatd be the best case scenario tbh. I might be the only one who feels the fact hes gone gangster is just kind of stupid. Say what you want about Butler's character from the first one, but one things for sure is he was completely dedicated on catching "the bad guys". I just feel its a little too far fetched that hed jump ship. I really like the idea of him playing the one guy that got away in order to catch him. Thats a great idea!

Out of nowhere this absolute surprise came. First one was so damn good and so damn underrated. One of those hidden gems you stumble across while browsing a streaming platform and you recognize a great actor like Butler so you give it a shot because of them but end up loving it for everyone and how good it ended up being and then you get mad at yourself for not having seen it at release or earlier somehow. Didn’t need any cheesy “John wick style” action sequences to be entertaining, the characters and their background and how it all came together in a story with a twist ending is what did it for me. Rotten tomatoes gave the first movie a 41% why an absolute circus rotten tomatoes critics are 🤡🤡. Can’t wait just sucks 50 and Merrimen won’t be a part of the 2nd ride as they were fucking awesome as the bad guys in the 1st💔💔
