Climbing up Denali (Mt McKinley) each of our teem is roped together as we make our way through the Kahiltna glacier system, carefully pulling our gear sled that’s 60 lbs, while wearing a 50 lb pack. The terrain is magnificent and it’s very quiet except for our snow shoes scraping along the ice. We travel at night during the coldest conditions to help with stabilization of ice bridges over crevasses.
