I like your insight. I'm not afraid of repeating patterns though, It is simply what I find fitting. 🙏❤️

All g my guy, just to add to my point, repeating an idea is one way i feel would emphasize your sound palette so much more as it is so diverse, but another is contrasting your sounds. to me it sounded like you were trying to fit as many variations of your sounds throughout all the "highs and lows", like i would hear different basses, drums and high sounds. personally i believe if you kept one part of the beat consistent like the bass, or the highs, while playing around with the other parts vice versa, it would give a much greater spotlight to your crazy sounds/techniques. that being said, that is all to make it more "consumable" to my ear. keep up the great work, like i said on stream u got some unique chord progressions, that don't fit into the typical "bbxer chord prog" big up

I don't feel this "people be overhyping things" point of view. Ultimately, you cant tell someone they are mistaken about their own experience of food or music. I really enjoyed the Osis wildcard. It doesnt have the bounce you refer to, but there is an amazing quality there in the energy of it. I think you just weren't feeling it, while lots of other people are. Which is fine. Subjective.

the "bounce" i'm referring to that i usually hear in osis style is what separates him from a lot of bbxers, and is what i believe makes his bbxing sound so smart and/or mature. yes, he's got some crazy techniques, but usually he lets his entire track carry his energy, whereas in this wildcard i felt like the opposite where he let his sounds/techniques carry the energy. not saying that it's a bad thing, but it sounds so outdated to me, (like i mentioned a bunch on stream how the current meta is wack, and still "impress, impress, impress") yes i get that it's a competition and on paper i could see osis ranking high, but the wildcard fell short for me as a piece. then again, i'm the only one saying how the meta of "overhyped" crazy sounds is oldschool, while the majority of the community would disagree, ig i'm the weird one.

What distinguishes Osis for me is his extremely rich and kind of dense/heavy sounds, combined with such a smooth flow that brings it all together in this awesome organic sounding way. The texture and dynamic of it is so amazing to my ears and not something I've heard from anyone else. I can get calling the approach outdated, but for me his quality of flow and sounds breathe new life into it.

@@denbeatbox I mean he can't use the same groove with the same crazy combos because then people will call it overused and repetitive
