Thanks so much for sharing this! It’s been a big help for me since I couldn’t quite remember what the berry’s new flower buds look like!😃

Yes, I found this one very easy too. I used to find it always had a smattering of flowers but seldom a big display. Yours has a super display.

+Gardening at Douentza The one from the raffle has a very nice display. The little one has 6 spikes, but most of them are in the work and will open their flowers one at a time.

I have this cross too, and I like it a lot. The fragrance reminds me of honey. Your plant looks gorgeous, with so many blooms!

+Orchids & a Dutchy I remember your repotting video. I liked it a lot, but I wasn't commenting back then. :) I was surprised to see blooms on your D. Berry in summertime, because mine only flowers in wintertime or spring at the utmost. The langer one finishes blooming now, but the other one is opening its flowers very slowly, it will bloom on for a few more weeks.

Bumblebee My den. Berry 'Oda' (thanks by the way for pointing out the correct way of writing the name) usually blooms during winter and spring, but last year it didn't stop blooming after the spring, it just kept making spikes. But the problem that came out of that is that while it was blooming it didn't make new pseudobulbs, so it started to grow now in the winter, so it doesn't have any blooms right now. We will see, maybe it will bloom in the summer again. It's a funny plant. Considering the parents of this cross are Australian, maybe it's trying to change weather zones. ;)

Ugh, I saw these in the plant shops when I lived in Europe. I would love one, but haven't been able to find it here in the US!

+My Green Pets I can imagine that they will be available in the US one day, because they are mass produced here. Ahh, you lived in Europe. I was wondering if you were multilingual because of the way you pronounce some orchid names.

I hope you have not given this amazing plant away! This is stunning, you brought it into specimen level! Cheers :)

I did. ;) I hadn't brought it to that size myself, though. I had just won it at our orchid society's Christmas raffle. But in Europe they're available in home improvement stores in autumn. Happy growing! :)

+Bumblebee here in the state's... lots of us have a hard time with dendrobiums . Maybe i will try this one
@bumblebeesorchids34089 жыл бұрын
I don't know for sure if it works everywhere, but mine is still alive although I was and still am a Dendrobium beginner and haven't always kept an eye on it. So I'd say: Go for it!
