I don't really think that GTA is that kind of game. Imo, it works best as a pseudorealistic but silly crime thriller. GTA 4 was great but it's also one of the most controversial games in that players either loved it or hated it. I just really wish they'd give this series a second chance and try to make it actually fun, and actually make time to finish the story.

nah, it's definitely a 6/10 at best. The characters have no depth and the setting of each level is bland. With more work and making the characters have more thought, the game could've easily been a 9/10. And if the game play was improved, then this game would have been popular amongst most gamers.

there are actual sad songs and sadness in kane & lynch 2. Literally the first scene in menu inside the car (probably kane on a taxi from aeroport to meet lynch), that song just rips your heart out. This is like Brat 2

I think these games are criminally underated, the first giving a slightly clunky gameplay but tense experience in this gritty crime thriller, dark and brutal narrative with vile characters who in yourself were conflicted to care for. Co-op was solid fun addition. The sequel was fun too with tweaked gameplay making better shooting mechanics and but a weaker story. The style was cool with Shaky cam idea then quickly got irritating, Still enjoyable in Co-op mode though....

I started playing it, And got hooked on it due to the soundtrack and the story. Its a tragic story about a man trying to save his Wife and Daughter.

This theme song for me has a message for people and Kane for Kane he wanted to see his family and give up his life of crime but he can’t and he lost his wife and in the 2nd he gave up his life of crime but was forced to go back to it because he needed money to help his daughter basically it’s if you’re a criminal you’re a criminal forever you can never break out of that cycle.Now for the people it is basically if you are dealing with depression and other stuff in their life the song is telling to get through it and go on with your life and keep living your life and to never give up

@Hentaider I'm speaking more specifically with regards to in-game mechanics and the overall "tactical" structure of single-player...The AI is abysmal, the cover terrible, aiming bad and the character potential wasted... Multiplayer is a nice idea, betrayal and traitors, but the core gameplay ultimately disappoints.
