Thanks JGBaroque! The music is splendid as always! And your choice of the famous picture "The homecoming of the soldiers to Copenhagen" by Otto Bach, is very illustrative and apt. The showing (off) of the Danish soldiers, to celebrate their victory over the German Holsteiners and the Prussians in 1848 is depicted in a very lively fashion and in vivid colours!

Hmm, I never thought of it that way, maybe it's the punctuated rhythm with that up-and-down melody that evokes that feeling? :)

@@JGBaroque Found it, it's 0:27 and all the repetitions of it, it sounds near identical to Der Hohenfriedberger.
