This instrument is a midi controller, so the answer to your question is YES. It doesn't have internal sounds, so it needs to be connected to a cellphone, tablet or computer. In this particular video I used one of Respiro's sounds, but you can use whatever sound you want.

I have watched all the EMEO videos and in all of them, the player plays just random notes. Can someone post a video and just play some normal songs instead of some off-the-wall random notes. And make the notes sound like a saxophone instead of some weird synthesized sounds.
