I visited Elmina Castle in Ghana almost 11 years ago and I'll never forget the experience. I'm British and have Jamaican heritage. I felt sad, angry, broken but also felt so empowered. My ancestors were incredible. I have their strength in my blood. They went through that and then slavery and survived... I can do anything! ♥️

Seems like people have been complaining about waiters/waitresses attitude a lot when it comes to food ordering. It's about time restaurant managers give their workers good education . Is it just laziness? Don't just assume and replace a requested meal of a customer to one of your choice. What if that person is allergic to what was substituted? Well aside this, Ghana is a lovely country. So peaceful. Proudly Ghanaian 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭

Maybe if Dennis had specified that it was “potato” chips he wanted and not just “chips” he would have gotten exactly what he wanted. In Ghana chips is yam chips/ fried yam unlike the US or other western countries because we hardly eat potatoes. How did Dennis expect the waiter to know it was potato chips he wanted? ....Every country has its own culture and we must learn how to communicate in a way that relates with the people and environment we are travelling to
