Free yourself from the western gaze and proving anything to them.. Some of us live in huts. Some in brick and mortar houses, and that's fine. there is nothing wrong with living in huts. Stop invalidating other people's lives experiences in a bid to prove something to westerners. There is pride to be taken in the architecture and eco-friendliness of huts! Let them stew in their ignorance if they so please.

Love my home Ghana and how it’s showcasing a developing Africa! Mark my words, the new Dubai!!!
@wealthy57025 жыл бұрын
Aisha Busari Lool, no where did I say Copy. I said the NEW. Figure of speech. As in a NEW hotspot destination and development. the President and others have acknowledged countries/cities like Dubai and Singapore as inspiration. you recognize excellence when you see it. If you do not humbly and practically learn from other blueprints, saying the New Ghana has no target or endpoint. The development of Dubai within 50 years and its tourism and business success is like no other. Hence why I said the “NEW” as we can improve on that. Thanks.
@wealthy57025 жыл бұрын
nita bineta of course it will be uniquely ours. Where did I say it wouldn’t. And it would’ve been better if she created her own “well said” comment.
@wealthy57025 жыл бұрын
nita bineta agreed. However Singapore gained independence 10 years after us and have less natural resources yet are very well developed. Malaysia gained independence the same year. There are no excuses.
@wealthy57025 жыл бұрын
nita bineta Of course we need our own solution - that is obvious and the solutions are clear. But have you ever wondered why New York is called “New”? Its all about improving on what has been learnt. There was no need for debate or correction concerning my original post because we all want the best for Ghana. I don’t know why people love to argue & add corrections when my opinion was honest and harmless. I’ve said what I said. Next time please do post your own comment. God bless.

keearata our countries are safe and welcoming dear stop the hate, I was just educating African Americans who are new to traveling back to the continent so if you are from those 3 countries don’t be petty
@keearata5 жыл бұрын
@@atikah47 I never was petty nor rude in my comment neither did I mention that your country or other African countries were not safe to visit. I rather encouraged keeping our countries safe and welcome as those who yearn to visit or land on the African soil will come. Kenya as you mentioned has been a popular tourist attraction for many years. Africa is large and beautiful as we all know. Ghana has become popular in news recently due to it's large slave history. As 2019 marked 400 years of slavery many learned and connected with the history as the president also announced to welcome all. Ofcourse this is not the only reason to visit Ghana. Indeed there are many places to explore in Africa only a matter of time.

@christianea12405 жыл бұрын
tyyahnna yes, you got it, the lie was done on purpose to all African descent living outside the continent ( North America, South central America, the Caribbean) the reason being to keep all African descendants from knowing, learning and even visiting the continent by portraying the continent of Africa as a disease infested place, war zone , famine , poverty etc. ( of course no one want to go to such places or even associate themselves to Africa) For centuries Africa has been portrayed this way. Now the truth is coming out slowly. Africa is the motherland, the most beautiful, breathtaking continent on earth.
