I have this in Venice Blonde. I love it. I can have tighter or looser curls with it by pułling them down. I push the nangs to the side for a more feathered fringe. Not much shine in mine, used dry shampoo and it was perfect

Way too much bang in this piece. I guess I'm not a fan of the whole look but appreciate the time you spend showing us. I like it way better when you style it like with the hair band and especially the bandana. It transforms it and takes away the bulk that I don't love when it's down. Love that blue bandana on you.

Really a cute style. I have 2 Januarys( one is hand tied) and a Quinn in this color. It's gorgeous. With all the pieces we have shared, I should have sent you this shade to see. I do have to add that the Quinn seems to have a little different tone & root appears just a tad darker than the Januarys. Luck of the draw, I guess. We know color varies from piece to piece. Love the hairball on Betty, cute on you....full bangs and all. 🤗❤️

I do think this color is pretty shiny on this piece. People use dry shampoo to tone down the shine and say it works great. I haven't tried it but if I ever get a chance to do that I'll definitely make a video on it.

Did you keep this one Denise? I’d love to see you use heat brush on bangs…or perhaps how to thin. I’m afraid of making short strands that want to stick straight out. How do I avoid this?

I didn't, but I did just cut bangs into another wig and that video will be coming out tomorrow (Tuesday).... watch it and then let me know if you have additional questions. I think a razor comb and a hot air brush are the key to making the bangs lay well... on a wig like this I would use the razor comb to create some soft layers which will also thin it a little, and then the hot air brush will flatten the strands so they don't stick out. HUGS!

@@heywigsister I watched your Tip Tuesday on cutting bangs. I thought I’d tell you what I did to Betty, here, in the Betty video. I liked the bangs, but I thought the profile looked strange on me- my forehead shape. So, I used the blow brush and curled under the mid section of bangs. Then I curled the side sections back- even used some hairspray, curled back till hot, turned off and let it cool. Then removed the blow brush. This changed the shape slightly and opened the bangs up a little. They’re now more wispy, without the risk of cutting short lengths. I’m happy with it!

I noticed it in my kitchen the second I took it out of the box. Now, that could be because I have been wearing a lot of heat friendly styles lately which are definitely less shiny, so that could be skewing my perception a little bit.

Most of the wigs you show are really expensive and not affordable for daily wigs.

It is an interesting dilemma. You can find cheaper wigs on Amazon and in some other places, but they are not always the most realistic looking and since they use cheaper materials they really don't do very well as daily wigs. The wigs I show are generally known as ready to wear which means they require very little work to make them look realistic. For people who have skills and can modify wigs and work with them, there are definitely cheaper options out there.
