When I was in the Military I attended a small get together with my husband at my chief’s home. My chief had a military Priest who was a close friend of the family for years. My chief has four children, the oldest two were girls about 12 and 13 years old. On my way from the bathroom at this particular get together, this priest pinned me up against the wall in the hallway and told me that he had been celibate for 56 years and that I was the one he wanted to make love to. I told my chief and his wife, but they brushed it off saying he was harmless. Two years later I read an article in The Navy Times that a priest in Virginia Beach, VA had been arrested for molesting two young girls for over seven years, I called my old chief immediately, and yes, it was the priest and his two daughters. I was heartbroken. If only they had listened to me and not brushed him off as “harmless.” He was a predator. 😢

SHE DID NOT KILL HERSELF. Reason #1: When facetiming her family she was clearly afraid for her life, She was the opposite of suicidal. She even had said "I thought I was gonna die in that car"... chilling to hear the fear in her voice & know that when she was being actually killed she was most definitely terrified 😢 Reason #2: I know what it's like to be suicidal, growing up was traumatic & lonely. I have tried that method before ( how she was found) (staged) & it does NOT work!! Your body's natural instinct is to fight to survive. Unless you somehow knock yourself out but I highly doubt that because again, she DID NOT WANT TO DIE! & she should not have died... I don't know her family but this broke my heart. She wanted to help & protect & serve her country but instead she was tormented by her own, terrorized & brutally murdered & the worst part is they tried to put the blame on her... sick. My prayers go out to her family. This has got to be so painful. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope she gets justice, those who killed her may be able to hide now but when they meet their maker, Jesus.... that's not the way I'd ever want to meet my Lord 😢

It used to pain me when some of these women would either "give in" or participate in sexual activities, even while being married or in a relationship at home. Some men love these types of work conditions. It makes it much easier to be a *predator* and or unfaithful to their very own wives. I’m so sick of hearing this happen. I’m in the AirForce and this plus suicide are the majors things we have to deal with throughout my career. I’ve met former army females who I’ve dated that also went through this it’s pure sickness to think these people join what is supposed to be the most prideful life changing organization to find out it’s not that at all. Too many stuck up people hiding behind rank who just want to check boxes but don’t genuinely care about this stuff. It’s sick and I’m so tired of hearing this. There’s a lot of devilish people in the military trust me when I say this the government is god to most of them. During the whole forced vaccination situation I was involved with I saw so many people make snarky comments towards individuals beliefs over not wanting to receive the vax or being forced out of the military. There’s some twisted crap going on and the fact that they literally covered it up just leaves me speechless but I’m not after hearing this same scenario play out the same way over and over.

I’m going to put together a special panel to have these cases individually investigated. If I have to do it myself I’ll do it I’m tired of seeing cases like this! This story really hits home. Denisha was from here in my little town, in Kentucky. When this story broke, our town was devastated. We weren't personal friends, but I knew her thru dozens of mutual friends, as well as we were friends on Facebook. All I ever heard about Denisha was how great of a person she was. How sweet she was, and how much she loved her children. i'm a U S Army Veteran Military Police Officer as well, so I'm familiar with how the Military cuts down investigations and covers up to protect some over others...With little or no resolution or justice. By all accounts, around town I've heard nothing but great things about Denisha. I pray for her family, her children, and I pray that her soul finds peace and rest. Our government needs to do a much better job at protecting our soldiers. Another loss is too many. ❤️💔

I did 20 yrs in the Navy, and this is so true. The current broken system of reporting is there only because of public demands. When I joined Tailhook scandal was first breakout of this large problem. Its not just women getting assaulted. Male on male, girl on girl, etc. All branches and all levels of ranks hiding and trying to keep it quiet. The old school traditions of protecting your own, on not only this, but domestics, and anyone that whistleblows is black-balled permanently in their career. My eyes woke up when it happened to a close friend and I found out long after the fact.

This has been going on within the military & protection given to the perps since women have been allowed to serve. When I 1st enlisted there were female branches, women had the luxury of a separate chain of command for reporting incidents. Back when those Women's Corps were disbanded, S-harassment/SA skyrocketed to the point that some bases had to detail escorting soldiers - with predictable results. I *always* carried a concealed ___ for protection.

When I was in the military, I experience sexual harassment but my female peers that were trainees treated me like I was over reacting or crazy and they themselves tried their best to fit in as one of the “bros”. I felt that if I would bring it up my drill sergeants would dismiss me. At one point it got so bad I did bring it up and the drill sergeants, about 5-10 of them together in a group, told me that I should not report it and be quiet about it so that my time there can go smoothly and that I wouldn’t cause any problems. Multiple times a specific guy violated my personal space and they saw it and did not care. I also experienced an older male drill sergeant speaking to me so closely he could kiss me, and overall he just flirted with me and always kept an eye on me. I had one teach during my training make sexual comments during our class, repeatedly, and touched me during the lesson and I reported it and all my peers treated me like I was the plague. The military had a big problems with sexual assault harassment but also bullying in general!

I hope you were able to gain something from being in the miltary and I hope all is well with you but this one of many reasons why women shouldn't be serving in the military, especially black women. Besides the politics I refuse to be maimed fighting for a wicked country. So many come back disabled and scarred from putting their hand in a wicked fight.. I can't stop crying over this beautiful lady and all the many more tragic stories. I felt so angry for not being able to join the military 3 years ago after getting the best ASVAB and MEPS scores. I was told I didn't qualify for medical reasons without any medical proof or diagnosis. Even though medical records have proven I am physically and mentally fit to join the military, I have never heard back from my recruiter after reaching out so many times, and the final answer was I couldn't qualify for medical reasons. After coming across this video today, I just felt a peace that took my anger away. Only God knows why He allowed my recruiting process to just fade away without no vivid proof and I am grateful for that. I can't imagine my family going through such a suffering after losing me due to reckless behaviors of my fellow military mates. May God bring some light and clarification for what has been hiding from Denisha's family and so they can have some closure, and may He gives them all the peace that surpasses all understanding.

They don't just reject ppl from not joining unless they have reasons. They don't need soldiers like they once did and if it's true about you having the "highest ASVAB" "GT" score. If that were true you'd be in and have a plethora of job opportunities. I joined in 2010 my ets was Nov 2014 and my ASVAB score was 87 and GT score of 126. I had basically any choice I wanted but slots were full in a lot of MOS and schools. If what you're saying is true take your scores to another recruiter and I can promise you, you'll get In. Best of luck, don't let anyone tell you, you can't do something in the military. They go by rules and regulations and can't deny you your rights.

During WW2, the Japanese set up brothels of "comfort women" for the soldiers in the countries they occupied. These were local women forced into it. When they were defeated and the US took over in places like the Philippines, the US government and military did not disband these brothels and kept them going. In fact, several Filipino women were trafficked. If this is the mentality that women are disposable objects, females should absolutely not join.

This happens TOO often. My brother is in the airforce and someone he worked with had sexually harrassed women multiple times, but he was such a " good worker", that they just relocated him somewhere else. He works at a joint base and he said the army is even worse! The military has the power to cover sexual harassments/ abuse, and they do all the time. I know the army is notorious for sexual harassment of women, you have a lot of people who used to be in jail, traumatic childhoods and just plain crazy people in the army. If you're a women I would heavily advise not joining the army.

@@sugafoot777they haven’t released enough information for me to be sure but tbh suicide is definitely plausible. The way the Army is set up we’re very self sustaining and or enclosed. Most non married soldiers live in the barracks on base. If the attackers were from her same unit then she could have potentially still run into them at the barracks, daily morning workouts, our cafeteria, the workplace etc. We’re just so intertwined with each other. Then the other big factor is unlike the civilian world she couldn’t just quit her job and leave. The investigation has to play out and if she just leaves then now she’s gotta live life always worried about getting arrested for awol then serving military jail time. Again I don’t know what happened but it is plausible that she felt trapped and spiraled. I’ve had friends that were assaulted and saw what it did to them mentally it’s horrible.

I have an old coworker who son served in the military. The military covered up his death. He was on a “secret mission” and died while away. They would not allow his mother to get an autopsy herself, or would not release his body to her. Instead of sending his body home so his mom could, the military cremated him. I am so grateful that I did not go to the military when I signed up. All these cases and stories are sad.
