Of course, he knew. He was just being mean and disloyal to his wife - an arrogant, selfish bastard. Unless he was already inflicted with dementia at the time that he announced he didn't want to be buried together with the Queen, she should have divorced him for publicly humiliating her.

The title is rude: the danish people love Queen Margrethe II! And we hope she will live long. One day we will have King Frederik, but Mary will always be "just" the Kings wife, Queen Consort.

What a shame. Henrik knew what he was getting into when he became engaged to the future queen. Judging from the size of his belly, he seemed to enjoy all the perks and lavish meals that came with his resented title. This must be difficult for the family to deal with.

The King will likely make his wife Queen Consort. Queen Margrethe II (Queen Regnant) could not make her husband King. Monarchies are not afraid of a Queen Consort's accumulating power but they are afraid of a King Consort's accumulating power. It's sort of a moot point, since the monarch of Denmark has very little (if any) political power.

Great family, Henrick , difficult to accept throne to Son. Notting unusual about his manly reaction. But, much Loved every where eventually it seems.. And, his creative activities, one could align with Queen Margaret's own in Art and theater. Can see the difficulcy as, Prince Henrich prior to marriage, had a very successful carrier in diplomacy and politics. A difficult transition, in context to Danish Monarcy.
