I think the lyrics refer to how a relationship is coarse and can easily be broken down and fall out of your grasp...like sand.

I have a feeling this WILL indeed qualify if they work on that staging. Saba has a very likable stage presence and, after a few listens, the song has become so catchy for me that I've been forced to put it on my playlists! I also love the meaning of the song and the staging on it's own is actually very thoughtful. Also, Denmark is in the second semi final, the weaker semi, so it's got a chance!

I don't know if anyone has made that comparison before, but here we go! In the midst of entries that are inspired by the success of Cha Cha Cha, we tend to forget that the entry which actually won was Tattoo. And imagine this: Woman on a platform, with yellow-ish lights, sings a mid-tempo pop song with lyrics that strongly evoke desert-like imagery. With a bridge in the lower register and all. I feel like this is: - Mom, I want Tattoo! - But, honey, we have Tattoo at home... - Tattoo at home:

i love the song, and ur saying "will this stand out?" in the year of quirky entries after quirky entries, after meaningless ballads, a strong simple pop banger like this might actually stand out as wild as it sounds, tho i cant help but laugh now because yea, belting the word sand is a little funny! but its easy to remember! so it will be stuck in peoples heads!

@@maciejmaciejowski3635 that would be wrong, there isnt any pop songs like Sand so far

There are barely 3 true ballads and 3 quirky entries that are out now. No more ballads are expected to show up and only the NL seems to be up for a quirky entry. You’re making big statements as if we don’t have the songs lol.

Sweden with this entry would be top 5, so hypocrisy

Your absolutte right. You should react too Basim Jhonny, that the danes choose. The judges choose Sabe.

I could see this being the typical case of a decent pop song being underrated by the Eurofandom, but sneeking into the final and placing quite decently there. Of course, this is still at risk of a non-qualification in a televote only semi, even in Semi 2. Especially the first half is packed with female performance, so it could be hard for Saba to stand out there! Personally, my favourite performance of the night was Ublu, but Saba was the safer option.

One of the better songs in a very weak selection. Almost like Germany. She sells the song quite well but I doubt that I will buy it.

Yeah finally somebody else who also thinks Sand is not a good word to use for your chorus! It has bothered me ever since I heard this song for the first time.

I think the idea is that things are fading away in a relationship, speaking lyrically.

75% of the vocals are the backup singers and I’m not sure Saba sings her pieces well - the lower register are very weak especially at the beginning of the song. Red Alert! Reilly Alert!
