It's almost ironically comical that just a few years back, Indian defense analysts used to brag about how all the world defense industries are open to Indian armed forces and how they can choose the best of the best while Pakistan has no other option but to go with Chinese products and how they are so much more inferior. What these so called analysts forgot was the fact that Pakistan has decades of experience with Western vendors and Pakistan fully realized that if it wanted a reliable source of spare parts it can't ever rely on US and its influence. And hence despite having options to go with western electronic suits and even Italian radars and other components for JF17, it went with Chinese ones. Now Indians will know why Pakistan avoided Western weapons if it didn't want to bow to US foreign policy :D
