I remember watching this one in a packed bar in Stockholm. What a roller-coaster of a game that was! At 3-0 I thought the place was going to fall down. At 3-3 it was like: “Well, we’ve not lost this yet....”, and then the penalty, at which point the feeling was: “We can win this now!” And then the incident, abandonment and forfeit left people going home saying to each other: “What in the actual...?!”

We had an absolute incredible team during the time 1949-1959 with a lots of super pro´s like Gren-No-Li,"Nacka" Skoglund and Kurt Hamrin all Italian pro´s that the Italians talk about to this day! I talked with a Cab driver in Milano and he actually cried when he mentioned Nacka Skoglund. And during these years they used all the pro´s in Olympic tournament´s.

the worst thing is that michael gravgaard was the player who cost 2 goals and the match for denmark. but after the game a lot calls him a hero for stepping in between the ref. and the fan running into the field to hit the ref. but if he just could play somekind of football, the fan never would have run into the field.

Everyone in Italy got brainwashed, if you had watch the news in Italy and been a Swede or a danish you also had thought the game was fixed. All you got to see was when denmark did a misstake and Sweden scored, and then they also showed when sweden were passing around the ball the last 2 minutes. Let's be honest. Sweden gets ahead with 3 very lucky goals, and great fouls from the Danish team. Denmark FIGHTS their way back into the game with 3 great goals, (WHO PUTS A 3-0 LEAD OVERBOARD?). And they show great team spirit, and amazing drive. They were incredible close at closing the game with a 4-3 victory to Denmark short before 90min. Christian Poulsen, ruins the game, no doubt about it, but he's still an great guy. It should have ended 3-3, and it will be a insane rematch in September

from neutral's perspective, it was harsh for the ref to stop the game because a single hooligan came and punched tried to attack him. seriously, what if that hooligan wasn t a danish? what if he was some swedish with a danish jersey on him. he just won a game by himself and cancelled out three goals. i m not saying that that was the case but it s realistic no? ref shouldn t cancel game this easily.
