I agree... Dennis was the Greatest kickboxer in the world in his time... And, I don't think anybody to this day has held the title as long as Dennis or has defended the title as many times... I mean, hey, he was an awesome fighter...

Full contact professional Karate, that's what it's more commonly called now, it was more commonly called Kickboxing in the late 80's into the 90's

@moritzkunow I didn't say he was the character in the movie. Michael Qissi and Van-Damme were actual kickboxer's before they were actors. Qissi's nickname was Tong Po. I know Michael Qissi isn't from Thailand.

@YapClarence He's a real person. Michael Qissi. Him and Jean Claude van Damme grew up together I think. I know they have been friends for years though. Now about the name Tong Po, I don't know if my source is 100% correct but, that was his nickname when he was fighting.
