Bob, Dennis, Beres, Tenor Saw, Junior Reid, no particular list.. Never stops to amaze me how many great artists come from a relatively understated island in the Caribbean. I have been there on many occasions and trust me they may not be blessed right now with what is perceived as blessed but they are blessed because their heartfelt music and vibes means a trillion times more than all that other crap perpetrated out there right now. The late Dennis Brown was sheer class, his stage style and beautiful vocals was above measure. When he and the late Greg Isaacs sang it melted away the harshness of 70s and 80s UK daily school life and I think for many other black kids too. A gift from the heavens, he deserved much more recognition than being just another Reggae star.

He was a legendary Prophet of Reggae. Full of life, Love, Peace, Unity and Harmony. I broke on the sudden news of his death and for many more years thereafter... but now... am joyed by realising that Jah people never die. He's alive with us whenever we blast our sound systems with his conscious vibes... Long live Reggae... Jah bless
