And 7-9 years later many cars have this push button ignition. I love it, except my car asked for the key this morning. I don't know where it goes? So it seems another thing has made us dumber 😔.

Hi I have a Kia 2012 smart key system the antitept light is on Dash that doesn't go off some how the key transponder not recognising the key I have replaced the battery on the key fob. Tried unlocking the door turning to unlock and holding for 20- 30 second but no go, had the key fog in key holder still no go if anyone had the same problem or experience the same problem I'd very much appreciate your help .

The hell are you talking about lol it's a convenience. If people are willing to pay several hundred dollars to save a couple of seconds when walking to their car or getting out of their car or starting their car, whats the harm? If you don't think it's worth it then its worthless to you and only you.

this is dumb... in my opinion using a key would be more easier that conducting all that complex process

Hey is anyone out there can help or Lead me the right direction I have a Kia Kia Sportage 2012 the symptom car and key light is on Dash and it stay on even when cranking the engine over . I have changed the key fob battery tryed unlocking the door with the key somehow the transponder not recognising the key any help or advice what the problem might be if you had the problem I'd very much appreciate. That's the same display as Volkswagen, and the key looks like an Infiniti key. Tsk tsk Kia.
