Dennis Noday was on my first cruise ship gig. Subbing for the band leader on vacation He was The Greatest!!! He drank Johnny Walker Black , and made me feel welcome. He also quoted the "Buddy Rich, Do you want a job or a beard speech to me on the bandstand, because I had a beard. The rest of the band already new about the Buddy rich tapes, but I didn't. Carnival Cruise Lines MS Celebration. I eventually became the band leader, married , and later divorced a blonde British Showgirl I met there. Great memories, and I'm glad Dennis is still hitting the High Notes!
