Spot on, iv not watched it for years I went off it. 1985 - 2010 those 25 years were the best years for me. Iv seen the odd clips over the last few years and the show doesn't even look or feel like eastenders anymore. Such a shame

He was a great character and funny too, although when he first came into the show they tried to make him a thuggish hardman which didn't suit him so I'm glad they changed him into a good guy.

Wow Minty used to be a dodgy geezer and a bad wide boy from his early years 2002 until early 2004. Just like Barry used to be like that in his early years and the same for Nigel and Billy early years too. Funny they became comedy character as we get to know them more and years later.

I think this is how the beef between Dennis and Minty started which ended with Dennis decking Minty with a jab to the nose.

If your talking about that time in the Vic then dennis was after Sam because of the angie's den fire which Sam got billy to do and minty just got in the way it had nothing to do with this. Plus when dennis decked minty with a jab that was in 2004 way after this. Hope that helps
