have to say , in year 2024 I didnt know I would NEED to keep coming back to a Dennis Rickman channel ! As said on previous vid , he was my fave character . Crazy to think new years eve was 18 years since his murder .. I genuinely dont know how you get these clips in basically HD quality but keep going !

A british tv channel called Drama show reruns of old EastEnders every weekday, 2eps a day and then it gets uploaded on a website called UKTV play. N its in HD on that channel. He either downloads them from uktv play or records them on his freeview tv channel onto a usb n transfers the mp4 onto a pc then uploads to utube.

Hard to say but I would say likely Dennis, he was younger and more athletic. Phil chickened out when they were going to fight by picking up a crowbar to defend himself, he looked a bit frightened yet is supposed to be this "feared hardman".

@@Uksoapfan Definitely agree with the first bit. I don't think Phil grabbing a weapon is an indication that he was scared though, as he already had heavies turning up. I'd also say Phil was stronger and was more skilled than Dennis at that point (debateable) I think it would've been close, but Phil would've won and Dennis is my fav character from EE ever!

If you watch eastenders today, you can seriously tell that the bbc are showing some serious cracks, not that this is fresh news to anyone, but eastenders certainly today shows up the evidance more than anything else the bbc puts out. All of the characters seem fairly lifeless & miserablely slow with pretty poor scripts. Its only very slightly watchable with fatgue, but it no longer moves with the gripped on view like it used to have. Production value has been very poorly leveled out. It could also be due to the viewers prospectives in todays world, ie the bbc aiming to play the safe line. Its quite a shame really, as some of the few actors/actesses although quite typecast who have been in the soap for most of their career are fairly good actors and deserve much better. The BBC no longer represents its meaning for what once stood for, its been a worldwide organisation for years now!!! Sadly, still many of the british public still wear this bbc scamming blindfold.

Effeminate? How? Jack Dalton was effeminate. An obese, ageing man isn't going to be causing much of a ruckus. It was implied that he was gay and it might explain why he took "young boys" like Dennis under his wing. I think he was a great hard man. He had a vile temper but was also psychologically damaged from his upbringing and used violence to mask his pain and vulnerability. The actor portrayed all these complex facets of Dennis's character brilliantly.
