What a player and singer, entertainer! He told me once that him and Bob McChesney were roommates at some point. What a lucky duo! He will be missed by many. Thanks Bob for posting this.

Denny was truly great, and a fine human being. Very down to earth, yet brimming with talent. He took over for me in a top 40 band here in Los Angeles. I used to enjoy his stories about Kenton road adventures. He will certainly be missed. All the people on this album did a great job. Just a wonderful album.

Denny got his haircut in my salon. I sub'd for Rick Eichhorn ( his stylist). Denny was a real stand-up guy....good tipper too! Fantastic trombonist!

Thank you for posting this with the liner notes of his album. I first met Denny when he started doing his cruise ship show in 1992 and worked with him more often than not until late 2005.

Here is a video from Denny's Memorial service this past weekend in McPherson. (kzbin.info/www/bejne/iaeal5xvedGZhtU) A great guy who will be dearly missed. It was a pleasure to get to know him more these past few years.
