NASCAR has been terrible since they changed the points system. I used to watch every race on TV. I also went to four or five races a year. Now I hardly ever watch it on TV, and I never go to a race. The playoff system is just plain stupid. No other form of racing does this And the stupid stage racing, is the worst idea ever.

In 1960s a bunch of notable drivers tried to go up against Nascar. That didn't go as planned. The Race Team Alliance formed in 2014. Now you have this issue. We'll see how it plays out.

The only ones that could have questions to ask are the manufacturer, the team owner, sponsors and the crew chief. And in both Dale Earnhardt and Denny Hamlin's case, they still ran well. Nascar forced the big teams to bend the knee, leaving the smaller teams vulnerable and weak to fight back. Never been a fan of Hamlin on the track, but he's got guts leaving himself out on a limb to try and fight the good fight. Sad to see so many Nascar fans defend Nascar and their stranglehold on the sport. These teams are what generates interest in the sport, not the France family, and they deserve a bigger slice of the pie.
