Dude, thank you for this video. What an amazing little piece of equipment. That plate reverb effect with your violin sounded so epic!!!

Yeah… I just got one recently and discovered this. Does not make sense that it wouldn’t have it! Especially when there are plenty of great reverbs on the decks. Great solution though. Thanks

Greetings Bro and feel you about the effects missing on the Prime GO. It also needs the EQ. I own the unit and rarely use it because of the same reason but love it nonetheless. Will be using the Prime Go on Sunday as I'll be a guest on a radio show and have a 1hr live DJ set. It's like they skimped on the Denon units mic EQ over a period of time. The mc6000MK2 had 3 band EQ, then the MC4000 (which I still own) had 2 then the Prime Go... none. If we should ignore the laptop situation and focus on the devices and what they can do, the MC4000 beats the Prime GO in my view. Even has onboard sampler. Anyway, much respect for the share of the product and keep doing your thing brother. Bless.

Hey thanks for that feedback. This was my first Denon product. I love the quality of the hardware. Yea eq and effects would really make this my number 1 unit for mobile DJing

Another flaw tho: no aux in the headphones. That's a big one in my opinion. Other than that, I'm in absolute love with my Prime Go!

can you invert the crossfader a/b channels? i learned how to DJ in the "hamster" style and haven't been able to find a setting to reverse the channels to the crossfader. Usually mixers have a switch to reverse them.

You are a Genius, love this , thanks very much indeed for this. Quick question for you, my Prime Go isn't giving any signal from my unbalanced outputs to a Denon X500 mixer. The outputs are fine and working on other gear but.not the mixer, I am beginning to think it might be as a result of the 2.1.2 firmware upgrade but am unsure - have you come across this with linking to external mixers?
@PhearNoneGearGadgets2 жыл бұрын
As far as I know it should work. I have seen many examples of people using the two in tandem. Firmware is a strong reason that it could be giving you problems however I would jump on the Denon forums to see what people are saying.

Many thanks for your response, much appreciated,I'll check out the folks on the forums. It's a weird thing because my Numark Mixstream Pro is also running firmware version 2.1.2 and is also failing to output to the mixer 🤔, both output fine to amplifiers. Keep up the good work, love your content 👍👍

Ive tried plugging my boss katana go headphone amp into the mic input but the sound is overly reverbed. It works fine in the aux input, any suggestions?

Question-I just purchased a 2nd denon go for a backup only. I do weddings and just do your basic mixing with nothing fancy. I have never updated anything on my first denon go and it works fine. Can I just use the 2nd denon go out of the box as it comes? Do I have to do any type of updating with firmware?

Do you recommend I keep my pioneer sr2 or sell it and get this??? I can't make my mind up!
@PhearNoneGearGadgets Жыл бұрын
Well that depends on what DJ program you use. For the most part the Prime go only works with virtual DJ. So it really more if a stand alone deck other wise.
@PhearNoneGearGadgets Жыл бұрын
If you use serato you can upgrade to some cool deck for $1000 from pioneer

It's been a minute boss man 🙏 does the prime go have on-screen effects like the prime 4 plus where you can swipe your finger across the screen to make different sound effects or is that exclusive only to the Denon DJ prime 4 plus

This video is stupid. Connecting a mic directly to a guitar pedal is going to sound horrible( even with a mogami cable). just get a standard desktop mixer w fx, then connect the denon prime to a stereo in on the table top mixer, It’ll have a proper mic preamp. The hiss and low level is from the impedance mismatch. This sounds horrible. Terrible idea
@PhearNoneGearGadgets2 жыл бұрын
I've actually used this set up several times when not traveling with a home desk top mixer or impedance adapter, and with pretty good results. Those who gig often know unexpected situations can arise in the field. This video shows several ways around a dry mic you might not have planned on using but suddenly need. As an aside, there are guitar pedals out there, like the Boss VO-1, specifically designed for direct mic plug in.

Design one yourself and stop complaining. People have invested time and money and all you can do is find one petty flaw.
