It's good to hear your first impressions. I can see how the Neural DSP Quad Cortex can make it easier playing live by making presets for the songs ahead of time. I like the idea of being able to capture the sounds from your existing rig.

I really like mine so far. I’m only a couple of weeks in. I generally need to play amp-less (quiet musical theatre pit, or with a very controllable FRFR speaker), and have so little room on the floor most of the time, that this works well for me. And for playing in clubs, I can fit it into my backpack (on a small pedalboard with an expression pedal) and carry zero amps in. I prefer real tube amps, but for the sound quality of all the factory models and virtually limitless captures, versus what a fraction of all those real devices would cost, I am happy with this unit. Some of the modulation effects are quite immature, but they are serviceable. There can be some slight digital artifacts in some of the reverbs, too. Hopefully these will get addressed in future updates. Overall, I like it a lot.
