Yes, please bring back the vlogs! I always enjoy watching your activewear reviews, but it's nice to also get a glimpse into the other facets of your life that you so kindly share :) I'm always here for more Kathryn vlogs plus any and all Peach/Pinto content haha!

This is so interesting to hear! I have just finished 4th year dental school in New Zealand (its 5 years here and we have just gone on summer break) I cant believe how much dental school costs over there! Here its $80K NZD (around $47K USD) for the entire 5 years!! Plus our loans are interest free and we receive a living allowance from the government too. Thanks for sharing

Wow! New Zealand seems like such a cool country. You're fortunate to live there! 😊

Congratulations on reaching fourth year! I didn't go to dental school but I did do a degree in STEM, so I can imagine the huge amount of work and dedication it must takes to do well both academically and in clinic. Congrats! In terms of vlogs, I'd love to see a skincare/makeup vlog or tutorial! I'm new to the makeup world and could use some tips, and I love your style!

Love your dental school content! I'm a med student - some of your world is very mysterious, so it's been great to get a little bit of a peek! Best of luck :)

I’m a fourth year med student so I love seeing this. I don’t know how dental careers work but if you ever consider doing an academic career or a public service career (hospital, for example), then you can get loans forgiven. So my plan is to pay the minimum amount during residency and then figure out if I do something that will pay back. I know it can be tempting to pay off as quickly as possible because of the interest but if there’s any chance someone will pay off your loans that’s worth it. I’m assuming jobs will have loan repayment as an incentive, too.

Hey, love your review videos. I was surprised to find out you’re in dental school. I’m 3 years out as a practicing dentist. If I could do something over again, I would’ve considered doing a GPR. I wouldn’t count that out completely-get some opinions from trusted mentors. See what hiring dentists are looking for in the area you want to practice. Yes, you can do CE. However, a good GPR will give you hands-on experience AND even pay you.

Bring back the vlogs! Lol I'm not even in the dental field anymore, but I still really enjoy them. You could even edit and post the old footage if you still have it! 😅 Good luck in your fourth year! 🥰

My school has a ton of residency programs so we don’t get as much prosth and endo experience. 😢 but it’s so awesome that they are preparing y’all so well! I’m heavily considering an AEGD to fill in the gaps.

Haha speaking of tooth extractions when I got braces and I had 4 teeth removed and my dad was in the room watching for 15 minutes before they noticed he was a parent! They panicked haha and had to take him to the waiting room. Being awake and attempting to answer their conversation starters was ruff when the tools are in your mouth haha

Come teach at Midwestern Dental School. A ton of Adjunct faculty work one to two days/week teaching pre-clinic, and you could do more full-time in the clinical side mentoring the student doctors.

Hello, I love these videos because I am getting ready to apply to dental school this summer. You talked about getting requirements done in the summer. Do dental schools usually go all year or just fall and spring semester? Also what do you recommend for studying for the DAT?

It’s definitely not “just being a dentist” people take for granted something as simple as a smile and being able to feel confident in “just that”. I’m having a mini dental issue and let’s just say my jaw now clicks when I eat and I’m literally so upset with my previous dentist because of all the 💰 having to be shelled out to fix an ignored issue that was brought to his attention for months upon months. Long story. Won’t tell it. But take nothing for granted for sure.
