Thank you Andrea , I love how you explain every thing 😍, your tips really helps in the office and yaay I always think of what you say . I have some questions , What if the parents force the kids to stay and finish the work but he didnt want , what should I do ? also you didnt talk about ultrasonic scaler , do we use it for kids or its enough to work with hand scaler ? Im really excited to my next pedo patient 😍

I'm so happy to help! Great questions - if the child won't let me finish or they are being a handful, I simply say "We can't finish today, Mom (or Dad) won't be too happy but if you won't be a good helper we will have to do this another day." and I simply stop. I've never had a parent question my judgement but you never know! Also explain to them that forcing them to do something isnt allowing for a good experience. As for ultrasonics, I do use them on kids sometimes! They usually dont like the sound but sometimes the calculus can be so thick (and ultrasonics are faster!) its easier for me :).
