As an assistant I think one thing some can do aside from assisting can be organizing, deep cleanings and stuff of that nature. The importance of seeing hygienists is top priority! $60-$80 for a visit is worth it. Fo your body and our own mental health.

Hi doctor I have a question. I am freaking out because I have an appointment with an oral surgeon this week to extract my wisdom tooth . But I am scared to go I font wanna catch anything . I am afraid what if they didnt clean something right at the office. What should I do . It's an emergency I am in alot of pain . But I am also very scared to go . Any advice?

Check for air purifiers in the operatories. Also consider your age and any medical history background and how your environment is at home too.
