As a Packers’ fan, not saying this is all on Hackett. But what a questionable choice. There was nothing on his resume to suggest he would be a good head coach. Fired at Jax. And GB? The scheme and play calling were all coming from LaFleur. I’m sure Hackett played some role, but in GB with that particular new head coach, that was a nothing job that no good OC would take.

It’s not unjust that Wilson keeps his job and money. These are not children behind closed doors making deals. Also, Hackett was married to a system of vanilla chunk plays that didn’t begin to fit a base wide offense. His system stunk for this group of players. Bronco fans can finally breathe knowing that we don’t have to watch Hackett force another square peg game plan in a round hole.
