Other than a strong showing from Bo Nix what I want most is a lock down performance from Riley Moss. An interception would be nice as well. Playing CB is a confidence position and if he can establish himself as a solid CB2 the skies the limit for this D.

Moss is going to be fine!!! Playing corner one thing you need to learn early on is you are going to get burned. It happens and it happens to everyone. You have to have a short term memory, learn from your mistakes and make a lot more plays than you're giving up. Next you have to be physical and be able to hold that edge and come up and stick your face in there and make tackles. Riley is fast and athletic, he just needs time on the field to get his feet wet in the NFL line you said. Ready for football. Denver is gonna smash the Seachickens!!! 27-13

Ok guys so say at mid point of the season the Broncos defense is underachieving, do either of you see VJ being relieved of his coaching duties and Jim Leonard being elevated to DC position. I remember Coach Payton raving about him as a coach saying that he will definitely be a DC in this league sooner vs later and maybe even a head coach candidate?

There’s two areas of this game that will be exposed. The Hawks offensive line is weak and the Bronco front should really disrupt the timing of the offense. On the Broncos offensive side, the Seahawks linebackers are suspect so look for McLaughlin and Dulcich to take advantage of mismatches for some big chunks!

Way, way too much hype on Nix. This has set up for failure pressure all over it. Expectations are now ridiculously high. This kind of stuff could actually hurt the kid's development. Personally, I'd rather have Nix sit for a few games and then ease him into games...Broncos are NOT a super bowl ready team yet, lucky if they get to 500 -- let's develop the kid without all this added pressure.

Here is a list of first round QBs who sat most of their first year --, some did not play at all in their first season: Love, Lamar Jackson, Mahomes, Goff, Alex Smith, Rodgers, Manning, Rivers, Vick, Brees, Lawrence, Burrow, Tua, Herbert, Murray, Josh Allen, Luck, Newton, Stafford, Ryan, Flacco, Rothlisberger. I rest my case. I could give you the list of first round picks who started day 1 -- I don't think you would like the success rate of those QBs.
