I don’t think our o line gets enough credit. Only a year ago they were leading in sacks allowed, I tried to tell people it was Wilson that was the issue, but people wanted to argue me on it. Now this o line looks like one of the best or definitely above the middle of the pack. I think in all honestly we can win this game. When you look at just the player for player matchup (their offense vs our defense) what matchup do we lose at? Having the kind of corners we do, it’s gonna give our d line and linebackers more time to do whatever it is they need to do. Higgins and Chase were a much harder situation to guard than Amari Cooper and Keon Coleman. I think our main job is simply containing their running. Allen and Cook are our main objective. No one thought we would beat the Bills the last time we played them, no one is believing in us this time. WE CAN DO THIS, WE BOLIEVE!!!

The reality is, the teams we beat were below, at or just above .500. I’m not convinced Nix is a franchise QB. I’m convinced he is at least as good as the best second string QB in the league and that isn’t an insult. I really need to see him go deep in the playoffs or win games against some truly formidable opponents next season to say he is a true franchise QB. Some fans saying he is the next John Elway need to stop that comparison and accept him soberly for who he is right now.

It doesn't matter who they play. They play who is on the schedule. We've also seen really good QBs play bad against teams who are below or just above .500 too. We gotta stop moving the goal posts.

You’re totally right that they play who is on the schedule and I’m not trying to move the goal post, but if we’re going to be honest, we can’t say a team that, for example, faced KC and the Vikings over a two week period, had it as easy as a team that faced the Panthers, then the Giants over that same two week period. Nix faced easier competition than Daniels this season. I hope Nix works out, I just think we need to proceed with caution in making him the instant starter next season. I think he should have to compete for the job unless he wins at least one playoff game.
