Appreciate that your take is very level headed and grounded. As a Broncos fan I was optimistic about Nix from the beginning because I trust Sean Payton's ability to judge talent. The amount of negativity surrounding Bo Nix from non-Bronco fans is crazy. He had an awesome rookie year and for the first time in a long time I'm optimistic about the Broncos future!

I’m 79 in a few days I’ve seen a lot of football. I can see in Bo Nix’s eyes something special he knows he belongs here he’s doing what he loves as a Broncos fan football is fun again. Also as I remember, Elway lined up behind a guard to take a snap his first year and took a couple Super Bowls before he finally won.

He operates with so much poise. When I watch him play, he looks like a veteran out there. But what I like the most is how he talks about the game. He is all about his team and winning, while acknowledging there is always room for growth and improvements. The Broncos got themselves someone special. Julian, you'd be surprised at the number of "Broncos fans" who aren't liking Bo Nix at all. They were the same ones mad when we drafted him, saying Sean Payton is the worst coach in history and made a tragic mistake. Like, it's a thing, and it's weird, and as a diehard Broncos fan since '92 it makes no sense to me. I think it's an ego thing. They're mad that their pre-draft analysis of Bo was so off, so instead of being excited and enjoying the ride, they're just waiting, hoping Bo fails. These same fans also detest Sean Payton. I think maybe a lot of them were Russ fans, which is also bizarre. So, yeah man, it's a thing. I wouldn't be shocked at all if a good number of the negative comments you get on Bo ARE Bronco fans, or at least call themselves that.

Keep in mind, Bo did this with one of the worst run games in the league, no TE's whatsoever, and a receiving corps that is young and hungry, but might need some work in the offseason. It's not like Bo has a stacked offense around him like Darnold or Goff. The quick game stuff is the Broncos run game, for the most part. When they draft a RB and TE this offseason? Watch out.

I live in Oregon and was able to watch Bo play. I knew he was going to do well but he has outdone any of my expectations. No way Bo Nix is not ROTY! It is very impressive the records he is setting for both this franchise and the league. He is very easily the best QB Denver has ever drafted. He is also one of the three best QBs in franchise history and not just for a rookie. Weird to say that after just his rookie season. He is way ahead of the curve for normal QB growth. How often is a rookie QB top five in most categories? Bo just is what they thought he would be, a pro level QB in his rookie season.

I think it’s OK for you to take a victory lap. You are right. A lot of the Pundits are coming around. The fact is that they did not see Bo in a positive light at the beginning of the season. They still haven’t apologized or actually said they were wrong but they’re close. I think the reason he has been so divisive is the fact that pundits watched him in Auburn and didn’t like him, and they never watched him in Oregon. My one knock on young Bo, and this is something he'll undoubtedly get better at, is he bails on clean pockets too early to take off scrambling. It's understandable for a rookie, but there were several times when Bo had a great pocket, got a little spooked, and bailed too early. I guarantee Sean Payton will clean that up in time.

I was ready to believe Bo Nix was the guy when Sean Payton said it! All these armchsir critics crawled out of the woodwork to criticize every aspect of his game, the broncos, our players, everything. Then, every time we lost a close game the haters would lambast the broncos and fans, and every time we would beat the snot out of a favored opponent (like the bucs or the jets) "oh i guess that team actually sucks then". Nix puts up a franchise record breaking rookie season, beats out most amazing rookie seasons, acrues piles of acolades including afc player of the month, but apparently the stats nerds know better, and you ignore your lying eyes you can find a sub par number deep below the surface. One of the broncos reporters asked the broncos offensive coordinator about how he felt about Nix... all great... "even with his epa?" the guy just laughed at him. Nix is the real deal, and haters are gonna have to deal with Nix and the broncos running roughshod over their teams while crying about statistics. Sheesh when did football fans get so nerdy?! He plays good ass high level football on his first year in the league? It's obvious there are improvements he can make with practice and training? Bo's ceiling could easily be something like we've never seen before, and cement him a legacy in the NFL... And with the broncos D to boot. The odds of blocking a field goal in the NFL is 1 out of 100. So the Chiefs, who were outplayed, had almost no chance of winning that first game when that ball was snapped. Had the kick not been blocked, the Chiefs would still have sat their players in week 18 and the Bengals still would have missed the playoffs.
