I would not feel comfortable giving up future firsts for JJ I love him but I prefer all the draft picks for this year because they are late round ones and keep the first so we can try again next year and not end up like the panthers.

Honestly I've grown increasingly bored with all these asinine notions of trading up. The reality is this. If Paton wasn't such a dumbass this issue isn't even a conversation. Hell McCarty or really any of these QBs are unlikely to be thought about at this point. Certainly a lot less than he is now. Havin said that, it's been proven entirely too many times in short order that an unreasonably unhealthy(and perhaps toxic) level of high hopes on McCarthy like he's the chosen one. Please make like the old MJ clip; "stop it, get some help!"
