Franklin needs to KEEP RUNNING. He slows down, waits to see if the ball is coming to him, and then tries to speed back up once he sees it's coming his way. I was at the game and he did this 3 different times. It's no wonder Nix keeps overthrowing him. Dude needs to sprint out his routes like the ball is coming to him no matter what
@ccwalker05013 күн бұрын
I agree. It doesn't make sense that the Franklin Nix connection is so off the mark when Bo hit him all the time deep in college. He stops and starts instead of running through the entire play.

Wild game...This game had just about everything. Defense came up huge...Defense also looked terrible...Jeudy could have had 300+ yards if Jameis connected on a few more....Bo made some great throws when it mattered most....That 93 yard TD pass was legit. Run game showed some signs of life in the 2nd half...This was a big win heading into the bye week. Lots to clean up....Indy game is huge for the 7th seed in WC race.

I still can't talk. What an exciting game in front of a nationwide audience. Coverage issues on defense need to be cleaned up for sure, but overall, this Broncos team found a way to win. 2 pick 6s and a game sealing interception was the difference. With the exception of a couple turnovers the offense got the points it needed. A gritty crazy team win. Big plays when it mattered. Like Coach said, it wasn't pretty, but they got the win. Last year's team doesn't win this game. Credit to the Browns. They fought hard too. The Broncos are going to be a problem in the playoffs, and that's fine with me. Go Broncos!!Great podcast fellas. I'll be pounding down coffee all day because I didn't sleep last night. So excited because of pure Bronco happiness 😊

Much as this game was crazy to watch and stoked to got the win, but man this was a ugly win.. Our defense got gassssshed up by Winston and Jeudy.. and Bo with that deep shot to Franklin on that one drive and it was the first play that resulted into a INT was a head scratching play on Bo’s part. Our defense made big plays when it mattered that ultimately led us to clutching this game but man we can’t play like this if we want to be serious contenders and it’s literally coming down to the wire of the season. Stoked to got the win but 😮💨😮💨 what a relief to get the win and now be 8-5!! 🔷🔶 LETS GO!!

Hey Cody and Sayre, as usual pretty much on point. My god, that was a roller coaster of an ugly game, I am just relieved we came out on top with the win. Hopefully both sides can watch the tape, especially Sean Payton on offense and Vance Joseph on defense after the bye week to focus back, because after this type of performance, we will be dominated going forward if we play like this. Offense: Bo played decent, but not good, he got away with some throws that should have been picked to Sutton, luckily the Cleveland defense did not get more INTs. He got lucky on that TD to Mims, thought that was pick too. Don’t know why up 31-25 - Sean Payton and Bo decide to take a shot play and get picked off to put your defense in a tough stop without rest when the previous drive you were running the ball well. Thank you Jaleel for your running game, did not understand Sean Payton’s play calling going away from the run game, especially on the 2nd/3rd and short, when the o-line and RBs had a groove, Jaleel could have broken that 100 yard rusher streak (with a TD so similar to a bold prediction last week with 3 RBs getting a TD) this game if he got more touches. Also, don’t understand what’s going on with Javontae he has been absolutely disappointing besides open holes for his TD, he is been down than up this year. This team is really riding the hot hand. Any word on recovering with Beadie? WR Sutton pulled in some tough catches after that 1st drop glad they went back to him the next play, besides the fluke/lucky play to Mims, less receiver production. Franklin made one great play, Vele was held in check, and TEs made some check down plays for Nix. At this point, based on the decision today, I would cut Levi Wallace after this performance to activate Josh Reynolds, we need more weapons, and helps out with the run game blocking, and can bring back Wallace on practice squad, not sure any team will pick him up on waivers after this prime time performance. Defense: I really don’t know what Vance Joseph is doing with his schemes. Playing zone when the Browns offense was carving that coverage on every play especially several 3rd and long conversions and broken coverages. Don’t understand why you don’t stick PS2 on Jerry Jeudy, who the team knew that Jeudy smack our team’s ass and had fire, why not shut him down early, and not getting into this shootout. Or at least help Levi Wallace with safety help on Jeudy like they did Kris Abram’s-Draine. After seeing Wallace getting beat, I was yelling at the tv to replace Wallace and Key with KAD and Demarri - at least a different CB, since it was so blatantly obvious who the Browns were attacking. Besides him, Broncos struggled with TEs especially Njoku, with 2 TDs, it was either Jeudy or Njoku and defense could not do anything, it could have been worse if Winston converted those passes that were overthrown or dropped. Was not sure why we didn’t bring more pressure on Winston and only rushing four felt like Winston had all day to throw, when he is under pressure he throws more picks especially on those 3 he threw. Hopefully Zach Allen is okay after reinjuring that heel again, since he got 4 pressures hits, 3 more than any other player. And surprised the Browns kept Chubb on the sidelines more often than not. 🎉 And the defense relaxed after the pick 6 and after the Mims TD to keep the Browns in the game still. Glad the bye week is this week, so the defense can rest up and recover to get ready to tackle and play coverage and offense can focus on the run game and more diverse play catching. Because the next games will be similar to this tough Browns team, especially Colts, they have to deal with the tough running QB and RB in Richardson and Taylor, and deal with underrated WRs in Pittman Jr, Pierce, Mitchell, and TEs in Mo Allie Cox similar to Njoku. On the defense end have to deal with Buckner similar to Myles, and Franklin/Paye LB, and Moore on the backend, it won’t be an easy game, but need to win to keep pace for playoff spot. Nice job as always, I need a break myself from watching this game, glad we have a bye to watch other games and hear other content, before the big game next week in Denver. Shout out to Jaleel, Bonitto, and JaQuan getting my game balls, made the running game come alive when offense was struggling; had the pick 6, crucial sacks and pressures; bounced back after giving away some passes had the pick 6, reminded me of the Chargers-Broncos TD comeback win, good PBU. This game reminded me of a little of that game and simile to the Niners-Bucs Week 1 2019 when Winston was on the Bucs. Glad we had some of the full 30/30 Winston performance, since we needed it big time last night. Broncos fans were great with some hair pulling out by me, hoping they come back strong again for the Colts game soon.

I think there was three or four opportunities for Bo just to take la few yards with his legs. Early down success is huge. I think Bo is getting really comfortable with the arm, which I love. Lack of ability to run is gonna hurt us bad in the playoffs if we can’t get one of these guys going. And I wanna praise Bo Nix for something he doesn’t get much attention for, his ability to quickly throw the ball away before taking a hit. One of the smartest things Peyton used to do was just go down, or quickly throw it away. Instead of risking injury, or lost of whole bunch of yardage, just take the down and regroup. I absolutely love that Bo does that, it’s something that I could not STAND with Wilson. Good win for the broncos overall. I think this game shows us what a playoff team is gonna force us to do, lack of ability to run is gonna force Bo to have a lot on his plate and a lot of the pressure to make the right plays. The main thing that concerns me is our defense isn’t gonna play Winston every week or in the playoffs. We cannot afford to rely on those pick sixes, as much as we like them, to win games. We have got to get that running game going.
@JamesG99713 күн бұрын

Jeudy played his first good game in Denver! It still didn't matter, and his team still lost 😂 This was a nailbiter, but I had caught on that we were the better team, and the Browns were needing picks to stay on our tail... That said, they definitely made me doubt that early conclusion, and they came out hot and refused to be put down. Ultimately when the turnover pendulum swung our way it was more than the Browns could handle, but man was I riding an adrenaline rush for most of that game 😅 AMAZING game, Better result! P.S. I was so relieved when they benched wallace, I was seething every time they threw an explosive over his head

All he did is poo poo all over anything Nix would do even if it was a good play. I almost couldn’t listen to him blabber anymore and I usually really enjoy when he calls games but he was bad last night. Three no more Williams, more Estame, play calling needs to be better too. 2 down a 1/2 yard and we end up punting? What’s up with that? All in all great win, great game and even though Nix didn’t have his best game he is growing and learning as the future of this organization. That 93 yard TD throw was the throw of the year too.
