The Broncos have really been struggling on offense so far, they could have won every game they played this year but they kept shooting themselves in the foot. People forget that when Peyton came to Denver 2012, he was 2-3 to start that first year, and he didn't look like he could still play like one of the best. But on the sixth game that year they were playing the Chargers and they were losing by twenty-four points in the second half, when Peyton finally became Peyton again and lead the Broncos to a comeback over SD. They went on to win ten of the next eleven games and won the West. That game tied for the largest comeback ever on a Monday night game. That year Peyton looked worse than Wilson has so far this year. I look for Russell to become himself again, and if that happens, SD and the rest of the AFC West will be in one hell of a race.

I only heard two receivers mentioned, Mike Williams and Keenan Allen, who may not play. But what about DeAndre Carter, Donald Parham, Gerald Everett, Joshua Palmer, and Tre' McKitty? Then at RB, only Austin Ekeler is mentioned, but we also have Joshua Kelly, Sony Michel, and Zander Horvath, who I wish they would use more often. Our defense is still a bit iffy, especially on runs, but we are right there; it should be a good game, Chargers by 10.

The Broncos have scored 20 points combined in the last two games. The offense only accounting for 18 of those points. The Chargers on the other hand have hit 30+ the last two weeks. Seems like an easy game to pick, but it's a divisional game so.......🤷‍♂️

What pisses me off as a Denver fan is how Russ is making at LEAST 150+ yards a game in passing. I’m beginning to think more of it is on our supposed “star WRs” at best we got Sutton. If we had Patrick, THEN we woulda had a better start. Our defense is getting a medium boost with the return of Simmons. To me, Russ is wanting to become a pocket QB to go in tune with his age. Work on his short throws, nickel and dime down the field, prolong possession. 3 or 6, just prolong possession so the defense doesn’t get exhausted by the 2nd Half. Dream score: 27-10 Denver Optimistic score: 20-14 Denver Realistic score: 14-12 Denver or Chargers. Pessimistic score: 16-6 Chargers Nightmare score: 35 (minimum)-7 Chargers.
