A lot of times these games come down to coaching, game plans for all 3 phases, and of course execution. Who's got the better coaching staff? Who comes up with the best game plan? Who can execute? Not sure there's a clear winner given Gruden's resurgence and Staley's genius level but young coaching skills. Also no real home field advantage. Will be a good game no doubt but I think the Chargers defense will once again be the difference maker.

Rashawn Slater has looked like a Pro-bowler at LT so far. Leatherwood is stout in the run but looks like a rookie vs good pass rushers. Chargers defense is improving, but so are the Raiders. I can easily see an up and down the field but settling for FGs game here from both sides. I'd give the edge to Carr and Carlson in the clutch and say it's a late Raiders win. 26-23.

Idk Herbert is a miracle maker. We will see what happens Monday. Im biased as well but the only way I see the chargers losing is by committing stupid penalties and dropping too many passes. Thats the only reason they haven't blown out every team they have faced. Herbert's stats don't do him justice at all this year to this point.

Everyone said that about the Steelers and dolphins too. Dolphins held Josh Allen to just 175 yards. Yet Carr continues to throw for 400 yards every games. The main reason is not just because Carr is playing well, which he is, but it is also because they have such depth in receiving core. Waller, ruggs, edwards, and renfrow are all big play makers, he then has other reliable targets like Murrow, and Zay Jones. When you have that many big play makers and that many all around targets that you know will make a play it becomes impossible for any defense to stop the pass. That’s why manhomes struggled so much he only has Kelsce and hill no one else is stepping up and it’s making it easy to double them two and do man to man with the rest.

This game is going to be very, very interesting. The Raiders have played with a lot of heart going 2 for 2 in OT victories. Also, that defense looks quite good. Derek Carr and his receiving core are playing well, (also hopefully Josh Jacobs is back). The Chargers are just as impressive though. Justin Herbert is playing well so far and I like their receiving core, (Mike Williams is impressing me a lot). I also like their defense led by Joey Bosa. Brandon Staley's Chargers hopefully will get a postseason berth, they're surely playing like it. As much as I like the Raiders, I like the Chargers a bit more in this game. I'm saying 24-21 Bolts but it could go either way and I would not be upset.

I love it as a raiders fan. The chargers had four turnovers and barely scored 30 points. It was in the fourth quarter and they still only had 14 points with three turnovers at that point. They should have still lost that game so I fully expect the raiders to Win this game. Biggest difference between the Chiefs and the raiders is that Derek Carr has no problem throwing it short Kansas City is addicted to throwing it deep and that's why mahomes is looking so terrible. Even though the raiders lead the league in deep passing. They are more than comfortable taking 5 yd short passes and controlling the time of possession. So if the charges want to sit back in seven man coverage the whole game Derek Carr will just pick them apart. Patrick mahomes is different He gets impatient with long methodical drives. He would prefer after a few short passes to Chuck it deep lol
