I love it too! I'm so glad I took the time to stop and explore. I only briefly went to Colorado once when I was a teenager, so I had no idea what to expect!

Nice beard LOL We once took a train from Union Station to Grand Junction at Christmas. That was a beautiful way to see the mountains and not have to worry about keeping your eyes on the road. The mule deer have a habit of just standing in the middle of the road and looking at you. The mountain goats will find what appears to be a vertical surface and magically stand on it.

The train is such a good idea! I'll have to keep that in mind for the future. My beard was pretty nice, but it definitely doesn't hold a candle to yours!

Lidia, just a reminder about the wild fires through western BC on your way up. And after the fires in Albert and the evacuations, some of those areas are niw getting flooded and under evacuation notice for that. It is crazy up here. Drive safe.

You seem to really like Colorado. It's a wonderful state. I bet if you moved away from Dallas (boring) to a place with charm, character, class, you'd be happier, satisfied, content. Of course continue your travel adventures, but have a home base you're happy to return to.
