Growing up we used to have a radio that would pick up the Denver Pd and Denver FD radio calls. They were in the 154mh and 155 mh bands. The PD was KAA-511 and the FD was KAB-249. We wired the radio up to the cars electrical system and went out chasing calls. A lot of times we could beat the responders to the scene.

How do you find these incidents? I can't seem to listen to their radio traffic. Please let me know how you find these before they depart from the stations. And also can you tell me how you know what type of call it is.

Hi. When the automated dispatch dispatches units in denver, it will say " Truck 4 respond to chest pains, at 123 15th st and then repeat that same sentence multiple times.
