Malone has figured out how to highlight WB’s strengths, rather than hope he can assume a role that detracts from what he can bring to any team in the league. How much Jokic actually leads with words could be argued. He simply sets and example for his teammates by showing up every night.

We competed without a starter in Jaylen Johnson and without two basic bench players in Bogdanovic and Bufkin (not so much). The Hawks should play Nance over OO, who is shorter, smaller and has no shooting abilities. He is not going to be an important player in this league unless he develops as a real quick PF. Great game for Krejci, who is playing great and not so much for Matthews, who was playing well lately. Difficult to play in Denver without JJ, who is key in setting an uptempo game.
