I can't fault people that called for a Wolves sweep. Nuggets really returned to form in this game. Every game so far this post season, they let themselves go down by 20+ points and have to spend the game trying to catch back up. This series, they looked vulnerable in game 1, and utterly demoralized and defeated in game 2. Looked like it was gonna be a sweep. I'm happy to see them bounce back. Sure they're the reigning champs, but reigning champs don't get locked up by Naz Reid(Nikola Jokic) and reigning champs don't go 3-18 when they thrive under pressure (Jamal Murray). Not to mention he had an injury too. You can't tell me that it didn't look hopeless for the Nuggets after game 2, because it did. They're the reigning champions yet they got held to 80 points only and got blown out by 30-40 points. Sure, it's basketball, blowouts happen, but to the reigning champions? And in the playoffs? Easy to win when the refs effectively nullified your opponent's ability to play defense. Early foul trouble resulted in tons of open looks for Denver. Of course they looked comfortable. The refs completely F'ed the Wolves by switching up how they ref mid-series, resulting in an insane number of fouls on the Wolves in the first half. They were too afraid to play any D the rest of the game for fear of fouling out, resulting in tons of open uncontested shots for the Nuggets. This was clearly on purpose to extend the series. You don't accidentally change the ref style that drastically mid-series without any warning.

I saw Minnesota playing much the same game as in game 1 & 2. I saw Denver playing different. Having learned from those losses. Adapting to a game they know as well and took over and sped away in the distance. If Minnesota can adapt again and stand up to this barrage it’ll be interesting. But I think Denver will turn around this series and come out on top. They can adapt to any opponent so well and play a game the opponent doesn’t have the answer to. But MAN that Ant-man is something to see low and behold! What a player! MVP for upcoming years imho!
