Denver pulls back on recycling service while still struggling to meet promises about composting

All residents will have a compost bin by the end of March, but recycling moves to every other week.

I will never use Denver compost in my garden, even when it's free. What is going to be the outcome of reducing the amount of recycling pickups while offering free compost pickups? People are going to start to request compost bins to throw their trash out that would normally be recycled. Denver is broke, and how could that be? Our property taxes are high and consistently increased, sales tax is 8.81% and consistently being increased, our education department is millions in the hole, I pay annual taxes to own the car that I paid sales tax on when I bought it, etc. etc. etc. All while crime continues to soar. Where is our tax money going? #corruption I am counting the days until I move out of the shit hole that is Denver.
