There are so many interviewed saying the same thing. The asylum claim is a total joke at this point, abused beyond recognition. And yet Congress does nothing. They need an immediate injunction and halt on asylum entry. It seems it may already be too late. I can’t fault these people for wanting to create a better life for themselves, but there is a process in place to gain legal entry. None of us are allowed to just show up in a country like that with no money and no plan and no proper paperwork. Why isn’t this common knowledge?!

The problem isn’t that the migrants aren’t getting “work authorization” soon enough. Literally millions of migrants have previously come to this country without such authorization and didn’t burden localities with their need for food, shelter, clothing and transportation. The problem is that the entire world has heard that you can come to the United States with no work, shelter, or transportation lined up and you will be taken care of. I estimate my town is probably about 2/3 migrants who crossed illegally. They came here for the agro-industrial work. Their friends, relatives, or traffickers line up work and shelter for them BEFORE they come.
