The equaliser wins without question. John Wick is a proficient killer there's no doubt about that, but if you go off skill he pales in comparison to McCall. Whether it's with a blade, with a gun or with his bare hands the equaliser wins (I'd say the only one who could match McCall is Jason Bourne and that's it), McCall is something else entirely. Let's take equaliser 2 for example, McCall went against people who he personally trained and absolutely wiped the floor with them. If John Wick went against people with the same skills he has the fight would be a hell of a lot closer. Don't get me wrong though I do love a bit of John Wick.

Ultimately I’d take John Wick over Mr. McCall. The difference for me is that John Wick knows martial arts (Jiu jitsu, Wushu, Boxing, Krav Maga, Judo, Karate, Akido-esque movements, Circular movements, and Wrist locks), whereas Robert doesn’t. Which I think gives John an edge. However both are very efficient, effective, and brutal. But what would be the ultimate is to see them teaming up.
