As a 22 year old male, I prefer to talk face to face. It has more meaning when encountering somebody rather than messaging them through the internet. To me, social media is a wast of time and distracts us from the aspects of life. Whenever I hang out with a friend, he’s on their phone and it’s complete silence. That’s the problem with social media nowadays. It’s taking control over everybody like a hypnotist. It’s destroys us. It separates us from reality.

I shut down my phone and put it in the drawer for a week. Just to see if i can do without it. It really sets you free. I felt great. Now i reduced social media to 30min a day . Its good not to be a slave of my phone anymore. Try it..you feel better

Exactly why I’ve deleted every social media account except KZbin. I have no desire to be on a page where people can comment on my lifestyle, my relationships, my every day life... it’s a good thing to be private and to actually make phone calls or send letters to people I haven’t spoken to in awhile. I feel much better and I’m definitely free from social media.

If you liked playing games, you should try setting a scheduled of playing to keep yourself in line, just how if you go to the movies, you pick a time best for you for that certain movie, and you watch that movie for a certain amount of time usually not seeing another movie for a little bit, but if you are going to go to college or planning on college you most likely won't have time for video games. TL:DR don't give up on hobbies you like, that's how people get depressed with life because they are always consumed with work and only focused on it and never fit in time so they can just enjoy themselves.

My advice to young people, especialy for men, if they want to live in a society usefull to themselves, is that they never start working in life before they find the person they feel to be the good one for them.
