Ummm, looks like the devs and OP cleared it up and it's just fine. Of course the app needs to know what site you're using, that's how it knows the price of what you're buying. Plus, the fact that it deletes your data afterwards is more than I would expect from an extension like this. On top of that, many people don't mind losing a little bit of privacy to save some cash, I could see myself using it if I didn't already have a service to find the best prices for what I need.
