Yes it was banned until feb end 2023, but right now you can pay while entering Deomali & camp. Details in the video you can go through.

Yes you can camp 🏕️ in Putsil but the security ppl of Ecoretreat may create issue by complaining to the authorities so in that case I would suggest you to contact Kamal from putsil he rents out his land for camping for 200-300 per night he also provides food & tents ⛺️ for rent in case you need. I have given his number in the description you can call him before you visit.
