I just stumbled on your channel. I like your style so I’m gonna sub. I live on the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi at mile 811. Honk when you go by. Watch out for all the stupid weekend recreational boaters up here. They think five blasts is just a Captain bein’ friendly and sayin’ hello.

Love your videos Captain, drove across both those bridges twice a couple weeks ago told my wife that the river was really low ,the corp.of engineers had that dredge working below the bridge from Illinois/ Missouri when I passed over them up on the Missouri side , I also told her about your channel and how you have to navigate these rivers she was pretty interested .We live in Tennessee, north of Nashville, travel this route going to northern Arkansas often .

I use to work the fleet above IC RR bridge on Ohio. I remember being a greenhorn going under Missouri bridge when the old man was rolling good and seeing that black go under and come up. It made me be careful there at Birds Point when we were spotted one.

When the dredge Potter was in St. LOUIS, the little grounded flat was a crew change point for lettin crew on an off. They generally beach it close to the operation. Keep the videos comin an stay safe Capt!

Anyone wondering why this man is the captain of this boat? It is knowledge, experience, training, and a captain's license. Just listen, watch and learn. This captain knows his boat and the rivers he navigates through.

Great little area Captain at the mouth of the Ohio river and the mighty coming together. Do the Asian carp still jump out as you motor up the river I haven't heard to much about them in the mighty Mississippi. I know the Illinois River is bad with them they opened a processing plant in Peoria a few yrs back just for them. Stay Safe Capt.👍🇺🇸
