I'm not even on the wait list, and I'm saying there is no excuse for this. It should have been a priority. If they can build a high rise in Waikiki for the out of state wealthy or another hotel in record time there's no reason why Native Hawaiians have to wait this long! I guess it's that way for all indigenous cultures huh.

As a Kanaka I would prefer building of high rise units, and the excess land being used to develop food soveriegnty for Hawaiians.

I been on the list since 1990 and I am 70 years old. Still waiting and I am 75% hawaiian yet was only given 68% percent hawaiian. How can that be that there is so many hawaiians more than 50% hawaiian and still waiting aftet 40 years.

Hi, thank you for the video. This question is concerning my mother's situation. Her husband the leasee past away in March. My question is that if a designated successor is listed to continue the lease will my mother be S.O.O.L? She'll have to move out with receiving zero net proceeds?
